Finis Dake - His Life and Ministry

Post by themattman »

I would like to know if any has read this? And how is it? Also, The plan of the ages chart, who has really studied this? Would you recommend getting this? It's very expensive , so I would like some review. Thanks
Matthew

Matt,
I used to teach from a VERY old copy of this chart. I would only get one if you want to teach from it. If you have a Dake Bible, the small version of the chart should be enough to do a personal study on what Rev. Dake teaches. As for the biography on Rev. Dake, as the administrator of this discussion board is the author of this book it might be best to ask him about it... +wink Be blessed.

I am supposing that you mean the 4x17 ft chart? I have one and have taught from it both here and abroad. It is a great tool for teaching and Dake's chart is easy to follow due to the Scripture references all along the way. Expensive? I'm not sure due to it being made of vinyl and its shear size.

If you are teaching a class room and not sanctuary then I would recommend the one in between the large one and the personal one.

Yes, the biography of Dake written by Leon Bible is a must read. It gives you insight into Dake's growing up and settles questions concerning supposed controversies. Worth the buy!

The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note
