Did dinasors exist?

Post by Ironman »

Personally I say they did.
I heard a debate on radio last Saturday night between the announcer and a minister regarding dinasors. The minister was yapping on saying dinasores are not mentioned one time in the entire Bible. The radio announcer said, well, whether they are mentioned in the Bible or not, they did exist, have been found and carbon dated and they probably existed millions of years ago. Back and forth it went. The minister suggested the few large animals mentioned were ocean dwellers such as whales.

Not being a minister, I found three Scriptures plainly describing what I presume to be large land animals, possibly dinasors. There are several mors such Scriptures in Job.

"Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. (Job 40:15-18).

Galatians 4: 16, Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

I worked with their remains for many years of my adult life,,,,with crude oil. There are two large fields in Utah that have many dinosaur fossils. I'm convinced they lived in the pre-Adamite world.

I agree Jay, anyone that will follow a seam of coal and watch what we dig up would be left wondering about a lot of things to do with a long time past.
I have been called an old fossil
So what does that make me?

A few years back I visited the Smithsonian Institute and saw their skeleton. It was truly amazing and Pre-Adamite as Jay says.

The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

If you believe genesis chapter 6 is about angles and women producing giants than is it not plausible that spirit animals (just like angles) took up with animals and produced dinosaurs?

something else to consider is the locust and horseman that are described in revelation? why are they bound ? could they be bound for the same reason as the angles, for leaving their first estate?

Genesis chapter 6
7And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

why would God include animals in this verse?

12And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth

how did the animals corrupt their ways? assuming all flesh includes animals

in the context of the whole chapter would it not fit that dinos were also in the land just as giants were thus all flesh had become corrupt

this also helps explain later in the chapter why God instructed noah to gather animals after their kind were their animals not after their kind.
