Catholic Dogma Contradictions
I'm researching on this front and am looking for works that might cover:
Popes that erred in teaching
Popes that taught opposing dogmas from the chair over the millennia
Also, recent dogma definitions have been "updated" to require the pope say a certain set of words when declaring a dogma and I'm wondering how that work for popes of earlier times who taught on faith and morals in councils and anathematized those who didn't agree with said teachings. Are their infallible teachings no longer dogma I wonder?
Any sources that might cover such things would be appreciated.

Couldn't you find more info on a Catholic site?
Or an anti-catholic site?
As an ex-catholoic, I don't need dogma studies to prove their distance from God.
It is written..."Whosoever commmitteth sin is of the servant of sin." (John 8:34)
Ask the pope if he commits sin.

My thought is they will not likely be aware or even allow themselves to wonder of such things that would destroy their religion's entire premise.Hill Top wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 10:02 pmWelcome to the site.lucianbane wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 8:56 pmI'm researching on this front and am looking for works that might cover:

I'm fairly certain there are plenty of catholic bashing sites out there.lucianbane wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 11:07 pmMy thought is they will not likely be aware or even allow themselves to wonder of such things that would destroy their religion's entire premise.Hill Top wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 10:02 pmWelcome to the site.lucianbane wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 8:56 pmI'm researching on this front and am looking for works that might cover:

Or sites that present comprehensive answers to my question that are just delivering truths and not bashing? I'll take either. If you don't know, that's fine too.Hill Top wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 10:02 pmWelcome to the site.lucianbane wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 8:56 pmI'm researching on this front and am looking for works that might cover:
