We should let our spirit (conscience) by our guide in these situations, if our conscience condems us in anything that we partake of we should stop it then and there.
That is why we should always walk in our spirit and not the spirit of this world.

That would fall under what Paul stated
1 Cor. 10:23-33;.

Just a thought on this, anyone that wants to know God, who He is and what He does, will never find out unless he becomes born again.

Also, confusion and Satan will accommodate anyone that attempts to understand God outside of the written word of God.
