Re: Unto what then were ye baptized??

A man with the Holy Spirit does not deny Christ. The Spirit will not deny Christ. The Spirit does not remain in a tabernacle of denying Christ. When a man chooses to turn to sin, this is not the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit does not lead a man to sin and darkness nor is the Spirit liable for sin, y...

Re: Unto what then were ye baptized??

Wrong. Jesus sent His disciples out, two by two, Peter and Judas included to cast out devils and heal the sick; Mark 6:7-13, Christ gave them power and sent them forth, and commanded them to preach, and to heal the sick. Peter had the Holy Spirit and power like the other apostles and was a successf...

Re: Unto what then were ye baptized??

I hope you don't think that a man with the Holy Ghost would deny Christ thrice. A man with the Holy Spirit does not deny Christ. The Spirit will not deny Christ. The Spirit does not remain in a tabernacle of denying Christ. When a man chooses to turn to sin, this is not the Holy Spirit. The Holy Sp...

Re: What is your view on the Second Coming???

There are many views today on the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. I am curious what the views of posters here are on eschatology. Hi Billy. The second coming will be after the rapture of the church. The Rapture takes place several years before the literal advent of Christ to the Earth, for ...

Re: Unto what then were ye baptized??

The only one ever tempted in all things throughout His entire life on the Earth, and remained sin free was Jesus Christ. Does that mean that one does not live free from sin after conversion? One can pray for strength and protection to God and do ones best every day to remain free from sin. I am man...

Re: Unto what then were ye baptized??

I appreciate the fact that Hill Top shared his beliefs. I am glad to have learned of his perspective on baptism. As to his perspective on having discontinued sin... If Dake's perspective on Conditional Security is true, then for any of us to make it into Heaven, we are ultimately going to have to p...

Re: Unto what then were ye baptized??

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: (Matthew 19:17)> For those who think they are perfect and never slip into sin. God doesn’t seek perfection from us, but rather maturity in spiritual matters. We need to be mindful of the temptations from our si...
