Re: Is it permissible to disagree with those you believe are wrong?

Is it permissible to disagree with those you believe are wrong? Galatians 2:11 Now when Peter had come to Antioch, I withstood him to his face, because he was to be blamed; If so, have any suggestions on how to do it in Christian love? If not, why not? Talk to them man to man, and if they don't see...

Re: Bro Hagin says you won't go to Hell for killing 300 people!

I love Reverend Kenneth Erwin Hagin more than most of the members of my own blood family. When people slander and speak evil of him it just infuriates me.When they talk condescendingly about him or are ugly against him it really bothers me. What if someone disagrees with him on various issues?

Re: Answered Prayer

Amen to that. Some reasons for immediately unanswered prayers may be there is a teaching involved that needs to be learned first, or waiting will strengthen one for a future time of trouble, or someone else needs to get on board, or the time is not yet right for such a miracle. Or perhaps God just ...

Re: Words mean something.

I have determined that someone is fully committed to their belief and is fully committed to defending it regardless of how ambiguous they must become when taking other positions, or defining terms. The “cause” must be defended at all cost. To add, no doubt a very dangerous position to hold as there...

Re: Who is E W Bullinger

Does it give anyone cause for concern that if Bullinger held to these unorthodox beliefs that he may have allowed those beliefs to influence everything he did? The scriptures say a little leaven leavens the whole loaf. Does this mean that a little unorthodox belief contaminates all his beliefs? If ...

Re: Transgression of the Doctrine of Christ

I looked up the word baptisms in Hebrews 6:1-2 in a Greek Concordance. The Greek word is baptismos a dipping or washing from the word baptizo to dip ,sink Rev.Dake has this in the Dake Bible note o on Hebrews 6:2 and says there are 7 baptisms in Scripture. The KJV and NKJV translated the word as ba...

Re: Words mean something.

Cornelius is a great example of a good man believing in God, doing righteous deeds, that needed the gospel of Jesus to be saved just like all the rest need it. Luchnia, It might take some time, but there is a Baptist preacher who used to be of the Arminian (Free Will) persuasion who converted to a ...

Re: Transgression of the Doctrine of Christ

I don't like the word "washing " .... The KJV renders it 'doctrine of baptisms ' Which the Christians would understand. Why would Paul write ' the teaching of washings ' Which has no point of reference in the body of Christ.? It could be that Paul (Assuming Paul wrote Hebrews) wasn't writing to "Ch...

Re: Words mean something.

Actually, he is a non-sinner when he quits committing sin. As Peter pointed out in Acts 2:38, repentance (from sin) comes first. Thanks, exactly. When one quits sin they would be a non-sinner. There are many non-saved people that do more than what some so-called saved saints do. Whether Cornelius s...
