For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil....

Re: Does Salvation Precede Water Baptism?

Mark 16:16 King James Version He that BELIEVETH and is BAPTIZED shall be SAVED ; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Ever notice that it's often taught differently than what Jesus said, here? The usual teaching is "He that believeth and is saved, shall be water baptized..." J...

Re: Article 8: Sanctification and Holy Living

The blood of Christ is what sanctifies us. Does your scenario for growth apply more of Jesus' cleansing blood to us ? Where does the Bible say that one is sanctified ONLY through Christ's blood? I don't think that sort of verse exists. Do you have another means of sanctification in mind ? Heb 10:29...

Re: Jeremiah Counsel vs Second Baptist Houston

Is it weird to go to a secular court to settle a dispute over church leadership? I don't know about weird... But it is unbiblical as you know. 1 Corinthians 6:1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? 2 Do ye not know that the saints...

Far too educated for me to understand Leon.
I notice the Septuagint version I have does not have the same ending, so I will leave this alone :shocked!:
I don't know... I think you got your head on pretty straight!

As Isaiah was written before Jesus was conceived, the 'us' may have been God and the Word.
But I'll stick with my prior "seraphims" answer from earlier.
Could very well be the case!
