Re: Eternally secure and thus cannot lose their salvation

This is part of the Statement of Faith of a church in our area: Those truly redeemed by Jesus, are eternally secure and thus cannot lose their salvation. Though they may fall, through neglect or temptation, into sin, and in so doing, impair their graces and comforts, interrupt the joy of their fell...

Re: Unto what then were ye baptized

Some question was the Son of God the Eternal Son. Some verses in the Gospels seem to indicate that He was to me. But i know this Jesus was Eternal and was Incarnate of the Virgin Mary and the Holy Spirit and became Man. Where did you find a reference to "the eternal Son"? It's not something I have ...

Re: Unto what then were ye baptized

Jesus was/is the second Adam 1 Cor.15:45-49; as the first is called the "Son of God" Luke.3:38; The second is called "the only begotten Son of God" John. 1:14; Jesus had to be tempted in the same way that Adam was: As a man: Heb. 2:17-18; 1 Tim. 2:5; Adam was the God of this earth as his Father had...

Re: Paul

The rubbish that is out there on Brother William Branham is a classic case of people speaking without knowledge of what they are are talking about. Yes, there is a lot of rubbish on Branham and a lot of people don't have knowledge of what they say about him, yet not all of it is rubbish. You can ge...

Re: Who is E W Bullinger

Above you said: "Also, they should have open minds and understand why one would question them." This is very true in the world of politics and an IRS audit. Never submit unless compelled to do so and say nothing more than what is required. It is not that a person is wrong, but many times those doin...

Re: Who is E W Bullinger

A Preacher from Texas i admire a lot once told me " the truth has nothing to fear from an open investigation." Thanks for the post. I think that is a good quote. Men that are well studied should be mature enough to give you an answer and not fear good investigation. Also, they should have open mind...

Re: Paul

Have a read of Wikipedia on all your teachers, preachers, writers etc and prepare to be offended by what is written about many of God's people. :-| Wikipedia is simply a compiled information site that anyone can edit. Folks should never use Wiki thinking it is factual matter. It can be right or it ...

Re: Who is E W Bullinger

Does it give anyone cause for concern that if Bullinger held to these unorthodox beliefs that he may have allowed those beliefs to influence everything he did? The scriptures say a little leaven leavens the whole loaf. Does this mean that a little unorthodox belief contaminates all his beliefs? In ...

Re: Jonah

"For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." The comparison drawn is the time Jonah was in the belly of the great fish and that the Son of Man was in the heart of the earth, not t...
