Re: Justification - Sanctification

I understand but while you talked a lot you never address the issue. Is a person who is Justified ALREADY sanctified? OR Is a person who is Justified NOT sanctified as of yet? You say you understand, but you were the one that claimed my position on JUSTIFICATION meant that God justified sin, which ...

Re: Justification - Sanctification

God cannot justify a man until He has sanctified and cleansed him of all sin. He could not legally declare a man not guilty who is still guilty of the least sin, much less should he have the old man, the biggest part of sin, in him. Dake quote above. Justification is the act of declaring one free f...

Re: Free Will

Using that definition then the words "totally free" mean absolutely nothing. FOR everybody has some influence from some direction on every single choice made. Rain, sunshine, good health, bad heath, whatever.... BUT even with the influences good are bad... Man still has a TOTALLY free choice and a ...

Re: Justification - Sanctification

So are you saying a person while still a sinner is justified? A person is viewed by the Father as separated from Him by sin, until the moment that person accepts the atoning sacrifice of the Son. At that moment, they pass from death to life. They are transformed from someone bound to sin to someone...

Re: Justification - Sanctification

God is the one who declares our justification, not man. How can God justify the UNsanctified? And the reverse could be asked as well. How can God sanctify something that is not justified? Easily, you start with the unsaved NOT the saved. You sanctify the unsaved and thus being sanctified they are j...

Re: Free Will

Of course that is TOTAL free will. God did NOT make them choose and the devil could NOT make them choose. Totally free? Really? Do you believe they would have chosen Good if He did not extend them grace, mercy, and goodness? Again I did not say or imply that God made them, forced them, coerced them...
