Re: Baptismal Regeneration
I don't believe in OSAS. OK. If you do not believe that salvation can be lost and you don't believe in OSAS, what do you believe? I believe that salvation won't be determined until the day of judgement. As we can't have it until then, how can we lose it ? That is the only version of OSAS I believe....

Re: Baptismal Regeneration
That's probably one of their strongest points in support of their position. They back this idea up by reminding folks that God is not imputing sins to anyone, during this age: 2nd Corinthians 5:16-21 King James Version (1900) Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have ...

Re: Baptismal Regeneration
The adherents of M.A.D. believe that if you can lose your salvation, then you are trying to be saved by your own works (your own ability to keep your salvation). They don't see that anyone who seems to have lost their salvation never had it to begin with. One can't be saved, having repented falsely...

Re: Baptismal Regeneration
MADists seem to be unaware that there is just one church, of both Gentile and Jew. (Eph 2) MADists want to be alone, separate from anything preached to, or required of, the Jews. They are wrong. I'm looking into their claims regarding the start of the Church. So far, I've come to the conclusion tha...

Re: Baptismal Regeneration
And along with that fact is water baptism was not necessary for the born-again experience as in Acts. 10: and 1 Corinthians. 1:17; Repentance from sin and rebirth weren't 'listed' either. Will any unrepentant, unreborn man go to heaven ? No. Just because certain aspects of Christianity are not list...

Re: Baptismal Regeneration
I do not follow Christian cults that believe and teach that you must be baptized in the Holy Spirit to be saved/born-again, or you must be baptized in water to be saved/born-again. I will stick with the Word of God thanks. 2 Corinthians.5:16-21; I don't necessarily equate "saved" with &qu...

Re: Baptismal Regeneration
People that are sick do not lose their salvation, alzheimers and dementia are a sickness along with every other attack of the devil. Acts. 10:38; proves this. I don't think Acts 10:38 says anything about maintaining salvation if certain facts are not retained in memory. Let's take a look: Acts 10:3...

Re: Baptismal Regeneration
120 born-again In your understanding, when were the 120 born again? Before they were baptized in the Holy Spirit, as they were witnesses to Jesus's resurrection before He ascended into heaven. Acts. 1:9; + 1 Corinthians. 15:1-7; And along with that fact is water baptism was not necessary for the bo...
