Re: Did Jesus Actually Say, "My God, My God, Why hast Thou Forsaken Me?"???

Did he say what was "actually" written ? Yes. He claimed the actual wording to be something to the effect of: "Eloi, Eloi, lemana shabakthani!" "My God, My God, for this for this purpose you have spared me!" "My God, My God, This is My destiny!" "My God,...

Re: Did Jesus Actually Say, "My God, My God, Why hast Thou Forsaken Me?"???

No.. strange ? He better scrub out Ps 22:1; while he is at it. Jesus, God's Messiah was forsaken because He became THE sin offering that was typified throughout the OT. Darkness from noon foreshadowed the awfulness of God's sacrifice that day for His creation, man. Parsley would do better to stay a...

If you'd like to listen to the sermon, it's here:

Rod Parsley - Scars and Stripes Forever - Part 3 - Jesus Never Said That!

#RodParsley #Lamsa #PassionTranslation #KingJamesOnly

The part about the revised saying starts at about 36 minutes in, or so.

Dake's Material v. The King James Bible

macca wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2025 5:26 am Thank God for the KJV and Dake's spiritual gift.
Would you say that Dake's material is equal to the King James Bible?
Or, that Dake's material is superior to the King James Bible?
Or, that Dake's material is inferior to the King James Bible?

Once Saved, Always Saved, & Backsliding, (& Millennial Exclusion)

I believe in once saved always saved because I do not believe in practising backsliding, I will stay saved in Jesus. There's so many ideas concerning just how conditional security is understood to be. Most that believe in the possibility of backsliding also believe in unconditional security. I'd im...

The Word of God Doesn't Mean What It Plainly States?

Today as then false religious leaders, teachers and preachers will say that God is wrong in that the Word of God does not mean what it plainly states and that our denomination is the real spokesman for the true Word of God, not Jesus, not Paul, not John etc. Yes. That's not going to stop. I was rec...

Accusing Jesus of Sabbath Breaking

It is no wonder because it was in Jesus's day as well as now. John 9:16; because Jesus had healed a blind man on the Sabbath the Pharisees said, this man is not from God, because he does not keep the Sabbath. Man's rules override the God's rules completely nullifying the Word of God. In verse 24; t...
