Jesus taught that it will be more tolerable for some in the day of judgment than for others (Mt. 11:20-24); that some will be found to be twofold more a child of Hell than others, and will receive “greater damnation” (Mt. 23:14-15); and that every man will be judged according to his works (Rev. 20:11-15). The saints will be rewarded according to their works (Mt. 10:41-42; 16:27; Rom. 14:10-12; 2 Cor. 5:10-11; Rev. 22:12).
