We primarily read the word to apply to ourselves, not others.
It is in the course of doing so we see the contrasts. The more
we hear the word, the more we have an uncion of The Spirit
we are given the ability to know those whom are good or evil.
"1 John 2:20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One ...
And ye have an anointing from the Holy One." The unction or chrism is the Holy Spirit (John 1:33; 1 John 3:24; 1 John 2:27). As Christ was anointed with the Spirit
This we do not know all things, but we are given the ability to discern good from evil.
I would suppose if men read the bible only to criticize they would be as hypocrites
whom themselves are not eligible for heaven. In these last days as Satans influence
drastically increases as we see daily, The Spirit too enlightens the believer to see
with an uncion of The Spirit.
