The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

Mark 16:
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

I always wondered,Why they don't drink any thing deadly ?

Hello Leon,
Did he survive ?
Is this a test of one's Faith ?, Or a test of THE WORD OF GOD ?
Who is edified by such an act ?
If we do not perform such an act as taking up serpents are we Not producing the signs that shall follow them that believe ?
Is this a proof of Spiritual Maturity, A part of the Sanctification process?

There has been over the past many years much debating over Mark 16:9-20. That these verses is a later addition to the original ending of Mark, and that the original ending may have been lost.

Yes he did survive. He had no pain or any adverse reaction to the poison.

They don't at it as a test at all but a demonstration of the power of God. At least that is what they told me.

Edified? I don't know, but the night I went in the back woods of Tennessee, the church was filled to capacity (it was a small building about 150 total) and I saw at least 5 people give their hearts to the Lord.

Well for me, I would never do such a thing unless God told me to do so. And in 40 years of salvation HE has never done so - now I must be honest, I have not been listening for that direction either! lol.

I am glad that Jesus did not jump off the temple mount to tempt God when He was tempted by satan.

those verses are part of the original.

every apostate reprobate modern version tries to remove them.

but God's Bible the Authorized KJV 1611 has them all.

Reverend Dake proves they are original.as well as 1John 5:7.
