Stop making excuses and fulfill your destiny.

Post by bibleman »

“The next time you feel like GOD can't use you, just remember:

Noah was a drunk.
Abraham was too old.
Isaac was a daydreamer.
Jacob was a liar.
Leah was ugly.
Joseph was abused.
Moses had a stuttering problem.
Gideon was afraid.
Samson had long hair and was a womanizer.
Rahab was a prostitute.
Jeremiah and Timothy were too young.
David had an affair and was a murderer.
Elijah was suicidal.
Isaiah preached naked.
Jonah ran from God.
Naomi was a widow.
Job went bankrupt.
John the Baptist ate bugs.
Peter denied Christ.
The Disciples fell asleep while praying.
Martha worried about everything.
The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once.
Zaccheus was too small.
Paul was too religious.
Lazarus was dead!

No more excuses now. God can use you to your full potential.

Besides you aren't the message, you are just the messenger.”

Stop making excuses and fulfill your destiny.

God bless

The fault in Bible complications is not with God or the Bible, but with men who refuse to believe what God says and think we have to interpret what He says in order to get the meaning. Dake Bible -Mark 11:17 note

What a great list. The only problem is is that most of them only suffered from one or atthe most two things. I have had to overcome several of those things on the list.

And just in case anyone is wondering, no, I never preached naked (sermons in the shower do not count)

Did any of these men really have a choice. At first blush we may declare they id but did they really? Only Jonah exercised his right of choice and look what it got him a three day ride in the belly of a fish to go exactly where God told him to go.

The real problem is too many fail to realize the actual call of God upon them and run in all directions while God readies a proverbial huge fish to get them back on track.

What is God's call on your life? I don't know but I think was all know it is not a boat ride to Tarshish. Some find themselves in the desert and are sure that isn't God's call yet two of the most powerfully used men of God both spent time in the desert. Paul and Moses.

If you are in the desert look around and see what it is God is teaching you. If you find yourself in a dark wet smelly place look out you are going to be vomited out soon.

I'm sorry I forgot I was surrounded with Calvaphobes.

Yes they had a choice but if we look at any of their lives it is clear that when they did not answer God's call or tried to accomplish it in themselves it was like swimming up river. However where they submitted to God and did it God's way it was like a float trip downsteam.

Better to be in God's will than any other place. Better to be working for God than anyone else. I really think this is why so many ministries go down the tubes. They are working for themselves instead of for God.
