Hi davido,

You said above: "Too report Dake preaches tithng is not true."

You my friend are mistaken and highly ignorant to what Dake taught and how Dake lived personally.
To those who will honor God with the tithes and offerings, not because they want blessings, but because it is right to do it God has promised, “I will open to you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it” (Mal. 3:9-11). If anyone argues that this was for Israel only, we answer, it is also for the Church according to Mt. 6:26-33; 10:29; Lk. 6:38; 2 Cor. 9:6-12; Phil. 4:19; 3 Jn. 2. This last passage expresses the will of God for Christians: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”Finis J. Dake, God's Plan for Man, (Lawrenceville, GA: Dake Publishing, Inc., 2004), WORDsearch CROSS e-book, 109.

bibleman: It would be strange inded for Dakes in GPFM chapter
16 asking and receivng not to have included tithing in this
chapter and then to say elsewhere that tithing was a condition.
Read GPFM chapter 16.

I often think no one on the board is led of the Spirit.

Dakes speifically states for the conditions of asking
and receivng one must be Spirit filled. Then to
turn to a multi-god system of tithing would be contradictary.
Anyway, I am more than blessed depending fully on The
Holy Spirit more so than just money.

What we have are those not led of The Spirit, but
rather worshipping tradition and rejecting the Holy
Spirit.

Psalm 45:7 "You love what is good and hate what is wrong.
Therefore god, your God, has given you more gladness than
anyone else" So true.

And on the chart without the methodology nor source
I do not see where the supposed tithers are that
blessed, expecially 10 fold, as tithers claim
if they're so far in debt and have so few assets.
I'll stay with my God.

If you are not a tither you will stay in rebellion to Jesus's WORD!

And as has been proved Dake's word as well.

Seems to me if you were led of the Spirit you would obey the Word of Jesus.

Jesus did not teach tithing, but rather abolished it, and no apostle
taught nor practiced tithing, but rather Paul would not partake
in the tithe.

I've one God, one Jesus Christ the new priest and one
Holy Spirit adequate for all things.

Hi davido,

Does this sound like Jesus abolished tithing?

Matthew 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

You are really trying to go to extraordinary lengths to justify your greed and refusal to obey the Gospel.

How many other things of the OT are still binding on those dead to the Law?
It is written..."For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God." (Gal 2:19)

That sounds pretty good.
How about feast keeping?
Limitations on Sabbath travel?
Eating pork?
Entering a Gentile's home?
